For over 7 years I’ve had the pleasure to create a youth talent database for Football Manager that continues our attention on the best young talents in world football.

This year, we have put even more resources into bringing you an even BIGGER, BETTER and more IMMERSIVE talents database by dedicating hours and hours on providing you the best database of the next potential wonderkids on Football Manager 2026.

About FM24 NextGen Wonderkids Database feat. the best young talents around the world.

The FM24 NextGen Wonderkids database let you experience the best young talents around the world that are NOT included in Football Manager 2024 as they were either too young at the point of FM24 release or for any reasons have not been added to the latest 24.4 database.

Since December 2023, I’ve have spent hours adding the next generation of football talents into Football Manager 2024. I have focused my attention of adding the most promising Under-16 talents from the top 10 nations across the globe, as well as all those young players that have come under the spotlight by being called up to represent the Under-17, U16 or U15 national team the past year.

The first edition of the FM24 NextGen Wonderkids Database lets you find over 830 Under-16 wonderkids and young talents born after 01.09.2007. Last year, the database finished with over 400 players, and we aim to make the FM24 edition more immersive than ever!

The latest update of the NextGen Wonderkids Database for Football Manager 2024 provides you with hundreds of new talents that are worth to watch ahead of FM25 release. With more than 40,000 changes to the database, we have tried to replicate all players added into the database is the most accurate way by not only setting their current and potential ability but also try to detail their player abilities in the best way possible according to the strengths and weaknesses discovered in our research.

To give you the best possibilities to develop the next superstars in Football Manager we have worked hard to include all the most promising talents of some of the best Youth Academies in European football.

You’ll get nearly full Under-16 and Under-17 squads of Barcelona, Ajax, Manchester United, Man City, Paris SG, AC Milan and Bayern Münich, as well as the South American wonderkids powerhouses; Palmeiras, River Plate and Independiente del Valle.

On top of that, it includes all Under-17 & Under-16 internationals of these nations and/ or national teams [currently WIP]:

In fact, it gives you a great insight to next generation of talents and future stars that we might hear lots more about in the coming years. Since there are players born in 2008 and 2009 in this database, you’ll even get to know some of the talents that won’t be included in Football Manager until FM26 release!

For instance, if you want to experience the next Italian Wonderkid Francesco Camarda in Football Manager 2024, this database is the answer. Apart from letting you experience Francesco Camarda in FM24, it features all those new wonderkids that we’ll embrace to our hearts in FM26, such as the new Arsenal Danish wonderkid Chido Obi Martin, as well as the new kid on the block Tristan Panduro – another Danish Wonderkid deemed at making his FC København break through for 2024-2025 season.

Further updates to this megapack of potential FM25 wonderkids features also huge talents in South America such as Justin Lerma, Juan Cruz Meza, Felipe Esquivel, Tomas Parmo, and the twin brothers Holger and Edwin Quintero at Independiente del Valle in Ecuador.

The FM24 NextGen Wonderkids database is also your chance to get Cavan Sullivan on Football Manager 2024, or get to know some of the next Brazilian wonderkids coming through, such as Ryan Roberto (2008), Denner (2008), Ruan Pablo (2008) or Nadson Juan (2009).

Further updates to the FM24 NextGen Wonderkids Database will be released in the coming months – until the release of Football Manager 2025. You can find the latest news on Football Manager 2025 here!

Due to the delay of Football Manager 2025 the updates to the NextGen24 continues but we have also started the major project to update FM24 with all the latest transfers. The latest 2.5 version of NextGen24 is now merged into our Football Manager 2024 Transfers & Data update.

If you have come across any players born after August 2008, we would love to include them for the NextGen25 wonderkids database releasing in first half of 2025.

How to Download #NextGen24?

For Football Manager 2024, we have merged everything into one database. So instead of importing all the individual files for each nation, and or region, as you had to for FM23 you can simply load the FM24 NextGen Wonderkids file.

The process to use the database is the same as before. Simply follow this step by step guide, which we initially made for FM23.

Step 1:

Download the file and use a tool such as 7-Zip or WinRar to extract its content.

• 1. Import the file to:
  • PC: This Computer/Your Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024 > editor data
  • MAC*: Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024 > Editor Data

NB! This folder is hidden by default. Please follow these instructions to locate your Football Manager 2024 Documents*.

• 2. Quit and Re-start Football Manager if you’re playing it
• 3. Start a NEW Save
• 4. Locate ‘Database’ – Click on the down menu 24.X Update
• 5. View under Editor Data Files
  • Select either single nations or all files labelled as e.g. ‘FM24 NextGen Wonderkids Database by Passion4FM’
  • Un-tick any files that may conflict that imports similar players
• 6. Click Confirm
• Embark on a new FM24 youth development project!
