Omer Atzili / 27 / Maccabi Haifa ~€2Mill

Omer Atzili is an Israelian international who currently plays for Maccabi Haifa. In real life he has scored 18 goals in 23 appearances in the Ligat ha’ Al helping the club to secure the number 1 spot.

Omer Atzili is a highly versatile player that can play in a number of positions and role but is best suited in the attacking positions. The left-footed Inside Forward can both create chances and finish them off. His excellent Flair, Off the ball movement and Work Rate provides everything you need to unlock the opposition defensive.

For under €2Million – he’s the ideal signing for French, Spanish, Dutch or Italian clubs who look to establish themselves on the top half of the division.

Dória / 26 / Santos Laguna ~€1Mill

The former Brazilian Under-20 captain is perhaps a familiar name for FM addicts. Doria is a Brazilian defender who is perhaps most known for his spell at Marseille between 2014-2018, and for winning the Toulon Tournament 2013 with the Brazilian Under-20 National Team. After Marseille spent €7Million to secure the next Dede, the career took an U-turn after entering Marceloa Bielsa’s side.

After being degraded to the B-team and several unsuccessful loan spells, Doría was signed by Santos Laguna after four years on European soil. The current captain of Santos Laguna has managed to revive his career in the Liga MX over the last two seasons by being voted as the Mexican defender of the Season in 2020-21.

The 188cm tall defender is as strong in aerial situations as with the ball. For around €1Million you’ll be able to get a physical strong and tactical aware defender that could easily fit into any sides in the top 10 leagues.

Richard Sánchez / 25 / Club America ~€4Mill

Juan Escobar / 25 / Cruz Azul ~€100K

If you are hunting for promotions to the top division of your nation, a huge bargain could be Juan Escobar. The Paraguayan central defender who can also play as fullback was signed from Cerro Porteño to Cruz Azul for the highest reported transfer fee (€7Mill) in 2019.

Veljko Birmancevic / 23 / Malmø FF ~€1Mill

Veljko Birmancevic is a Serbian Inverted Winger that I had a pleasant experience with on my FM21 Cukaricki save. The 23 year old winger is a product of the Partizan Academy and is using the Swedish Allsvenskan as a stepping stone in his career to top European football.

His brilliant performances in the Champions League qualifications by scoring 4 goals in 7 appearances and a hat-trick in the Swedish cup encounter two weeks have seen his value skyrocketing.

In FM22, you can pick up the Serbian international for around €1Million. You’ll receive a quick-footed individualist capable of getting past his marker by dribbling. His abilities with the ball at his feet makes him into a player who provides the creativity needed to break down the opponent.

If you use him in the Inside Forward role you’ll be able to take advantage of his Long Shots and capability to place shots into the back of the net.

Main Strengths: Dribbling, Agility, Flair, Long Shots, Technique

Fahd Moufi / 25 / Portimonense ~€2Mill

Any teams need an attacking wingback who can provide forward run from behind. While Daniel Alves have been seen as the ideal attacking wingback since he ruled the right flank for Barcelona in their prime, it’s been difficult to find similar players in Football Manager 2022.

One player that caught my attention and seems like a brilliant bargain is the Morrocan wingback Fahd Moufi.

A player in the similar mould but available for only around €2Million is currently playing in the Portuguese top league for Portimonense. Fahd Moufi is a right back with many of the similar traits as Daniel Alves. Great Dribbling, Flair and technique. He’s got the stamina and work rate required to cover the entire right flank and the abilities to get in accurate crosses into the box. His abilities in possession of the ball makes him into a dangerous player who can overload and break down the opposition defense by movements, through balls from wide and dribbles past the opponent to get to the byline.

For that small price tag – Fahd Moufi could be the perfect player for any sides outside the top 5 clubs within the top 3 divisions. He could be a great signing for anyone who wants to play with the FM22 Barcelona Tiki-Taka Tactics.
